London Cask Traders hosted a hugely successful stand at Whisky Live London 2025 – an energising few days of tastings, talks and exciting whisky cask investment opportunities.
A Landmark Event for Whisky
This year's Whisky Live London 2025 wasn't just the UK's most anticipated whisky tasting event – it marked 25 years of this iconic gathering and exhibition. Held at the historic Fireworks Factory in Woolwich, this year's two-day festival (on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th March) brought together whisky lovers, established collectors and curious newcomers from across the country and the world, all under one roof. It was a packed few days of unlimited drams, premium pours and ticketed masterclasses. For London Cask Traders, it was both a pleasure and significant milestone to host a stand at this year's event.
"For whisky lovers and casual sippers alike, Whisky Live London is nothing short of a pilgrimage ... the world's largest and longest-running whisky festival."

Connecting Through the Cask
From seasoned cask collectors to first-time investors, the crowd at the London Cask Traders stand was as diverse as the whiskies that were poured. Oliver Court, managing director of London Cask Traders, was on hand to answer questions and spoke at length with visitors about the opportunities of whisky cask investment – what it takes to get started, and what trends we're seeing globally.
According to Court increasing interest in cask ownership from both professionals and private investors was obvious, and conversations were refreshingly informed and inquisitive:
"It was clear from every conversation we had that whisky casks are no longer seen as a niche alternative investment – clients are better informed and more savvy in their choices and expectations than ever before."
A Venue with Real Spark
The Fireworks Factory certainly lived up to its name. The historic building where Whisky Live London took place was buzzing with energy and live experiences, including masterclasses like Blend Your Own Whisky with Christopher Coates, or Editor's Choice with whisky legend Charles Maclean. From behind-the-scenes opportunities to meet representatives of some of the world's most iconic whisky brands, to exclusive pours from the World Whiskies Award's stand in the Premium Lounge, this was whisky at its most interactive and indulgent. London Cask Traders was honoured to host its own stand alongside some of the industry's most revered names.

Following Our Success at MaltLive Dubai
Whisky Live London came hot on the heels of London Cask Traders' successful appearance at MaltLive Dubai 2025, held at Emirates Golf Club just weeks earlier, at the end of February. That sister event has set the tone for the London Cask Traders 2025 calendar, introducing cask ownership to a growing network of international whisky enthusiasts and investors. As managing director Oliver Court explains:
"It was great to meet attendees in London who had either joined us in Dubai or heard about our presence there. The appetite for quality whisky and intelligent investment strategies is undeniably global – and still growing."
LOOKING AHEAD
To everyone who joined us, tasted with us, asked questions or simply stopped by – thank you. Whisky Live London reminded us why we're in this business: not just for the positive financial returns, but for the positive spirit and exciting opportunities ahead. Cask ownership and investment is an expanding industry, and we are proud to be part of its future. We're excited to continue these conversations, deepen our own and our clients' knowledge, and help more people discover the potential of whisky cask ownership.
Missed us at the event? Reach out any time – we'd love to talk whisky, investment and the growing possibilities of cask whisky.
